Kathy DeZengremel is an assistant director at K-12 Learning with an extensive background in education, previously serving as a classroom teacher and then a Principal in both Littleton and Douglas County School Districts. As a strong believer in achieving successful results in the learning environment, Kathy sees her role as a perfect fit at K-12 Learning  where she regards working with students, staff, and parents the best of all worlds. Outside of work, Kathy is busy enjoying life with her husband, four grown children, and seven grandchildren.

Lori Peeples is the owner and director of K-12 Learning.  She and her husband, Andrew, are both military veterans. Lori served nearly 9 years on active duty in the Army while Andrew retired from the Air Force after 23 years of service.

After military service, Lori worked in a variety of technical leadership roles.  As a parent, Lori realized that there was a need for educational support services – tutoring, test prep and college planning services in the local community.  She has been a small business owner in Castle Pines since 2016.

Lori values education and wants every child to feel confident in their own ability to learn.  Knowing the challenges that parents face, Lori wanted to provide educational support services that would take away the stress and concerns that parents may feel when trying to help their children with educational support.

Lori has the following degrees and certificates:

  • BA in Accounting with minors in Management and Economics from the College of St. Benedict.
  • Master of Human Relations (MHR) from the University of Oklahoma
  • Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Carlson School of Management – University of Minnesota.
  • Independent Education Consultant certificate program from the University of California – Irvine.
  • Lori is nearly complete with courses required towards a Master of Education (M.Ed)  in School Counseling while attending ongoing professional development conferences and workshops related to education services.
